Privacy Policy
PokéFaves is a free browser-based favorite Pokémon picker. It does not require an account or payment. This policy explains the limited information involved when you use the site.
Effective: 2026-08-09 · Version: 1.0
1. Information we process
Your picker progress and favorite Pokémon IDs are stored in your browser's local storage. If you create a share link, those IDs are included in the link's favorites query parameter. We also process messages you choose to send to support and routine request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals through our hosting infrastructure.
2. How information is used
- Restore picker progress on the same browser and generate results or share links you request.
- Deliver artwork and Pokémon reference data needed by the picker.
- Protect, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.
- Answer support and privacy requests.
3. Service providers
Cloudflare provides site hosting, security, traffic delivery, and artwork storage. PokéAPI supplies Pokémon names and type reference data when available. Requests to these providers are subject to their own privacy practices. PokéFaves currently does not use account, payment, upload, or AI-generation services.
4. Storage and retention
Picker progress remains in local storage until you clear site data or your browser removes it. Shared favorite IDs remain in any link you keep or distribute. Infrastructure logs are retained according to operational and security settings. Support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, keep records, and meet legal obligations.
5. Your choices
You can remove locally stored picker progress through your browser's site-data controls and avoid distributing a generated share link. You may contact the operator to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Do not place personal information in a shared URL.
6. Security, children, and changes
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. PokéFaves is a general-audience entertainment tool and does not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian should supervise use where required. Material policy changes will be identified by the effective date and version above.
